London Cat Trail includes an AI-powered Trail Companion.

The Trail Companion can help with things such as:

  • Directions between trail stops
  • Planning a walking route
  • Information about the cats and their history
  • Your trail progress and finds
  • General questions about the London Cat Trail

When you use the AI Trail Companion, the information you enter into the chat may be processed by Base44 and the third-party AI services used by Base44 to provide the feature.

Base44 currently identifies third-party AI service providers including Anthropic, Google Generative AI and OpenAI. The particular provider or model used for an individual request may depend on the service configuration.

Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into the AI Trail Companion.

Technical information

When you use the website or app, technical information may be processed to operate, maintain and secure the service. This may include information such as device, browser, IP address, log and usage information.

Some information may also be stored using cookies or similar technologies where necessary for the website or app to function.

Base44 states that it uses third-party service providers to operate its platform and provides information about its subprocessors and data processing arrangements.

4. Content you choose to submit

If you choose to upload a photograph, post a comment, submit information about a trail find, or otherwise contribute content to London Cat Trail, that information may be stored and displayed as part of the relevant feature.

Please do not submit personal information about another person without having an appropriate reason or permission to do so.

You are responsible for the content you choose to submit.

5. Sharing of information

We may share or allow access to information with service providers that help us operate London Cat Trail, including:

  • Base44, which provides the application platform and related services
  • AI service providers used to provide the Trail Companion
